Thriplow Daffodils and Country Fair
Saturday 13th March
On the journey to Thriplow we travel through the village of Grantchester used in the TV series Grantchester and located just 2 miles south of Cambridge, this picturesque village is famous for its thatched cottages. We travel on to join the visitors for this much-loved spring event, as the village of Thriplow bursts into bloom. Fun for all the family and amble through over 100 stalls to find that something special. Check out the blacksmiths at work in the Smithy and be entertained by the merry Morris dancers. Then recharge at Taste of Thriplow for street food and beer or enjoy hot drinks and homemade cake at our Village Tearooms. With live music being played all around the village it’s the perfect place to get some springtime cheer. traffic-free lanes lined with daffodils, explore open gardens, browse local crafts, stalls, and marquees, and enjoy traditional demonstrations—all in a friendly, nostalgic village setting.
