A VISIT to JOHN’S GARDEN at ASHWOOD NURSERIES & DAVID AUSTIN ROSES

Friday 6th August

We travel this morning to Ashwood Nurseries for a guided tour of John’s Garden.  This stunning three-acre private garden was created by nursery owner and Chelsea Gold medallist, John Massey CMH.  This is a garden of all seasons with a huge collection of plants, trees and shrubs a ‘plantsman’s paradise’, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal.  There will be time to explore the Nursery and lunch.  This afternoon we continue to David Austin Roses considered to be one of the finest rose gardens in the world, it is one of only three gardens in England to have received the 'Award of Garden Excellence' from the World Federation of Rose Societies.
