Historic Claverton Manor is the setting for the only museum of Americana Outside the USA. Claverton Manor built in 1820 on the edge of Bath is the home to the America Museum and Gardens for over 50 years. Experience a journey through American history, with its remarkable collections of folks, decorative arts, cultural objects plus two exhibitions. The 120 acres of gardens are home to North American trees and shrubs, and a re-creation of the garden at Mount Vernon, Virginian home of George Washington. Relax and take in the views across the Limply Stoke valley whilst enjoying a lunch of American style food in the cafe.
