GLOUCESTERSHIRE WARWICKSHIRE STEAM RAILWAY and CHELTENHAM
Saturday 25th September
Today we travel to Broadway, The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway is a volunteer-operated heritage line running through the beautiful countryside of Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. We then board our train to transfer you to Cheltenham; we enjoy a 14-mile trip along part of the former Great Western Railway to Cheltenham passing through the historic Greet Tunnel and across the Stanway Viaduct. Pop into the station shop for a memento of your journey or enjoy a cuppa and slice of cake from the café as you take in the views across the Cotswold hills. Cheltenham is widely considered a fantastic town to visit. Often called the "Cultural Capital of the Cotswolds," it is renowned for its impeccably preserved Regency architecture, lush parks, and thriving food and festival scene
