This morning, we travel to Marsh Farm located near
the picturesque village of Abbots Bromley. The
traditional Tea Rooms is the perfect setting for a
two-course lunch at 12.00. A two-course menu,
choice on booking please with dietary requirements.
Mains, Roast Chicken with Sage & Onion Stuffing,
Poached Salmon with Parsley Sauce and Vegetable
Gratin all served with fresh seasonable vegetables.
Sweets, Apple pie, Sherry Trifle, Trio of Ice Cream

to purchase. We continue to the National Memorial
Arboretum a beautiful and inspiring place, the
150-acres of the Arboretum form a living landscape,
a home for more than 400 memorials devoted to the concept of remembrance. We are welcomed at the
Remembrance Centre where you can enquire if there were a particular memorial you would like to visit before
setting out to explore this memorable place. For a more relaxing way book on The Land Train offering a 50-minute
pre-recorded commentary tour of the site, providing an overview of the memorials and their stories. Our visit is
just after the Festival of Remembrance Sunday so the many wreaths laid will still be in place. There is a café and
restaurant at the Remembrance Centre and a shop selling books, jewellery, clothing, candles, tasty treats and
poppy gifts. Find the perfect gift to remember the perfect day.

CHRISTMAS TIME at CHATSWORTH, the HOUSE, the CHRISTMAS MARKET & the

A wonderful day at Chatsworth with the house
beautifully decorated for Christmas. We begin
the morning with a stroll around the Christmas
Market with log cabins and stalls, crammed with
festive crafts, gifts galore and Christmas foods
to eat, drink and purchase. There are plenty
of places to take refreshments, light bites
are available at the Farmyard Café or a hearty
meal at the Cavendish and Carriage House
Restaurant, outside catering is also available.
You can book yourself into the restaurants
beforehand to avoid the queues. After a timed
house tour, indulge in shopping in the courtyard,
before strolling around the gardens following
the amazing light trail.
