THE BEAUTY of WALES at the NATIONAL TRUST’S FAMOUS BODNANT GARDENS

Bank Holiday Saturday 28th August

A world-famous garden home to National Collections and Champion Trees with intimate corners, sweeping lawns, grand terraces and verdant woodland, there are many gardens in one at Bodnant. Created over 150 years, with plants collected and brought to Britain from far afield, and the incredible vision of generations of the McLaren family and Puddle head Gardeners.  This haven of rarity and beauty with a stunning backdrop of the Carneddau mountains of Snowdonia is a delight for the senses.  With 80 acres of garden to explore you might welcome some refreshment during your visit, whether that is enjoying a leisurely meal in the Pavilion or Magnolia tearooms or drinking al fresco in the garden with views.  The small shop can offer some great inspiration and there is plenty to choose from.  Next door is Bodnant Garden Centre who have a range of plants propagated from the garden - the only place where you will find genuine Bodnant specimens.  Why not take one home to grow in your own garden as a lasting reminder of your visit?
