We travel to the vibrant city of Liverpool this morning and the famous Albert Dock, home to award winning visitor attractions including the International Slavery Museum, the Mersey Maritime Museum and the Tate Liverpool - all free entry.  If you would like to “Ferry Cross the Mersey” just board a ferry and enjoy a 50 minute circular cruise, fare payable on board.  Interested in the Beatles call at the Beatles Story, the largest exhibition in the world dedicated to the Fab 4 (admission extra).  As an alternative take a short walk into the city and visit the two magnificent Cathedrals, which are completely different, the Anglican Cathedral, one of the world’s largest Churches and the Catholic Cathedral of Christ the King.  Another thrilling experience a trip to the top of the Liver Building (admission extra) or take an open top Bus Tour around Liverpool.  There are a wealth of cafes, restaurants and bars for refreshments and a vast range of shops at the Docks and in the city.
