Bourton-on-the-Water is a beautiful village in the Cotswolds set on the Straddling River Windrush, known for its low bridges and traditional stone houses. There are many attractions to visit the Cotswold Motoring Museum featuring vintage cars and a toy collection, Birdland home to species of parrots, owls and king penguins and the Model Village a 1930s scale replica of the village. Discover the many shops restaurants and cafes for relaxing lunchtime refreshments.
This afternoon we visit Kiftsgate Court Garden, glorious throughout the seasons with spectacular views over the Malvern Hills and beyond. Three generations of women gardeners have designed, planted and sustained this garden. The tearoom in the house offers delicious homemade cream teas and light refreshments.
