WALSINGHAM SNOWDROP WALK, a ROAST LUNCH and a GUIDED WALK TOUR of the VILLAGE
Sunday 9th February
We travel to Little Walsingham this morning to see the amazing carpets of snowdrops mingled with aconites, which have naturalised throughout the 18 acres of grounds and woodland, and along the banks of the River Stiffey which meanders through the Abbey Grounds. At 1pm we sit down to a carvery roast lunch of roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and a selection of vegetables followed by a choice of desserts with tea or coffee (wine can be purchased at own cost). A guided walk tour of Little Walsingham or if the weather is inclement a slide show in the Orangery this afternoon will give you an insight into the fascinating history of one of the most famous, but almost undiscovered villages, in England. There will be free time then before we begin the journey home.
