We travel to Market Harborough known as a delightful shopping destination, there is so much to discover from the wide range of independent shops, to the cafés and restaurants. The fascinating Indoor Market, which continues an 800-year-old tradition of market trading in the heart of the town is a must!! There will be time for lunch before we continue to Lamport Hall, a grade I listed country house, set in 10 acres of tranquil gardens and enclosed by glorious parkland, Lamport is a true hidden gem. We enjoy a guided tour of the Hall with experienced guides who will share stories of the Isham family, who lived here for 400 years. Discover the delights of the garden and a somewhat unusual claim to fame, the home of the world’s rst garden gnomes.
