A MOTHERS DAY SPECIAL to ABBEY CWM HIR HALL and GARDENS with SUNDAY ROAST LUNCH
We travel to mid Wales for a day at Abbey Cwm Hir Hall built in 1834 by Thomas Wilson, the house was doubled in size by the Philips family in 1869. Paul and Victoria Humpherston restored the house and gardens over 10 years, with their work being featured on many TV documentaries. The 52 room house bursts with innovative and creative interior design ideas complimented by thousands of collectable items, all used as furnishings. On our journey complementary tea/coffee and biscuits will be served by your hostess.
On arrival, we are warmly welcomed at the Village Hall where we will be served with a wonderful two course roast lunch with the option of either; roast Welsh beef, stuffed chicken breast, or a vegetarian option (to be advised) all served with seasonal vegetables, followed by a great selection of desserts, tea/coffee and mints. We will be serving a complementary glass of Bucks Fizz for all Sharpes guests to celebrate this special day. After lunch, there is an extended guided tour of the Hall in all its Victorian splendour, and to explore the beautiful walled gardens and grounds.
