FESTIVE SEASON AT CHATSWORTH HOUSE, THE CHRISTMAS MARKET & THE GARDEN LIGHT TRAIL

Enjoy a great day at Chatsworth with the House superbly decorated for Christmas. We begin the morning with a stroll around the Christmas Market with log cabins and stalls crammed with festive crafts, gifts galore and Christmas fare of foods to eat and purchase. Timed tickets for the House tour will be confirmed at a later date. There are plenty of places to take refreshments, light bites are available at the Farmyard Café or a hearty meal at the Cavendish and Carriage House Restaurant along with outside catering. You can book yourselves for the Restaurants beforehand to avoid the queues. After the House tour indulge in shopping in the Courtyard before strolling around the Gardens following the amazing Light Trail.

A handmade, historical, magical experience awaits you with 70 traders situated in the square around the town hall, the new arcade and the forum surrounding the iconic sparkling tree in the heart of the city centre. Discover unique, locally made produce and with handmade crafts, jewellery, accessories and stocking fillers, you’re sure to find the perfect presents in Chester. With an abundance of award winning restaurants, country pubs and quaint cafes all serving only the best, fresh local produce, you are sure to find plenty of places for eating.
